First, what is Tofu?

Characterised as a vegan dish, scrambled tofu has become quite popular as it is quick and easy to prepare at home.
- Fresh Tofu
- 1/2 tsp of Turmeric
- Black salt
- Vegan cheese
- Olive oil
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and gently fry the onions.
- In the meantime, take the tofu and mash it in a bowl using your hands or a fork.
- Add the turmeric and black salt (Kala Namak) to the mashed tofu. It’s important to use black salt to provide an eggy taste to the tofu.
- Add the mashed tofu to the frying pan and stir on medium heat.
- Add the tomato, scallions, and vegan cheese on the top.
- Cook for 5 minutes till it becomes soft.
- And that’s it! Your scrambled tofu is ready.
